Apparently, I'm too independent for my own good, extremely kind and young at heart, personable, attractive, with a quick wit, and an amazing smile. I say, I'm just me - a work in progress. I work to pay my own way and provide for my family, do what I can to help others, and feel good when I can make a difference or share a smile.
I don't frequent the bar scene or bingo halls, might go out once or twice a year, usually to a work related function or family event, and have spent the past 10 years, working and raising my kids, so I'm not exactly sure who I am now, but it's time to find out.
I am open to new experiences, love the wonders nature has to share, enjoy stimulating conversation, and prefer to stay busy. Once very impulsive, I've visited most of the Canadian provinces, lived in the east and west, and enjoyed a variety of social scenes. From ocean to mountains, flowers to fields, skiing to rodeos, car/bike shows to races, boating/canoeing/camping, horseback riding, music/concert venues, movies and books, I love to experience, and look forward to expanding the list, some day adding international travel locations as well.
If my friends could describe the person they would like to see in my life, - a down to earth guy, hardworking, employed, with many positive qualities, willing to share some laughs, time, himself, and deserving of a good woman. Someone considerate enough to respect my independence, make life a little easier without making me feel dependent, strong enough to offer a gesture of kindness without giving me the chance to say no, or foolish enough to do it anyway, in exchange for a genuine thank you (possibly with clenched teeth, but you can't have it all.). And I'm not really hard to get along with, I just don't accept help or share responsibilities well, but I'm working on that...

I would like to meet someone who takes pride in themselves and their environment, willing to work on the TO DO list, and still find time to steal way from obligations for a quiet dinner, loud concert, or maybe a walk, movie, dancing, or just quality time. A man who can impress me through his actions, not just with words, can feel as comfortable dressing up on rare occasions, as he does in jeans.
