Meet a woman from Nova Scotia, Canada. So I have been on here for just a bit but not having much luck. Feel free to ask questions, I am an open book really. I have learned a lot about myself from past relationships and appreciate that through hard times comes important lessons and personal growth. I have been divorced for five years. Had one other relationship since, which ended about 8 months ago. I am really ready to meet the right guy for me and see where it goes.
I work full time with the provincial government. I have two wonderful children, ages 9 and 11. They are active in sports, so my second job is taxi/cheerleader. They visit their Dad a couple of times each week. We get along fine and ended things amicably. I own my home and do all my own yard work - not so handy with renos though! :)
My friends would describe me as caring, giving, compassionate, dedicated, fun, and spiritual. Strangers might see me as shy, but not-so-much with my close friends. I love the simple things in life - a field of daisies, the smell of fresh cut grass, sledding with my kids, cold beer on a hot day, getting my bare feet into the sand, boating, camping, baking, hangin with my girlfriends, cuddling up to watch a movie with that special someone...

It was a liberating experience and I recommend everyone should do that at least once in their lives. I have just started a running program and I have a personal trainer that I see 3 times a week along with pilates twice a week so I've discovered the benefits of working out and I'm hooked. I love to cook and to bake and enjoy cooking for friends and for family. I like to go out for dinner, movies, theatre, etc. but I also like to just stick close to home sometimes and have friends over for dinner, some wine, and a movie or game night. I'm looking for a man who I can spend cozy nights at home with watching The Big Bang Theory over some wine or maybe head down to Cut or Le Coq for a Saturday night romantic dinner date. I want a man who loves to travel and discover the world....maybe a trip to Italy or France??..or just heading down to Mexico for a week of relaxation on a beach is great too. I want to meet someone who has a great work ethic and enjoys their job and their life. Someone who has a positive outlook on life. I don't care if you have a six-pack and look like Brad Pitt...I'm looking for someone who is kind, who makes me laugh, who makes me happy.
