I've always loved learning about the past, so after earning my B.Sc. I decided to go back to school and follow my passion: the study of history. This has led me to the Master of Arts program at Dal. I'm a firm believer that you can't understand where we are, and where we are going, unless you understand where we've been. The same goes for people. My experiences have shaped who I am, and I believe that to be true for most others as well.

I recently went to the CN Tower in Toronto and stood on the glass floor, looking straight down 114 stories. My knees got a bit weak, and a feeling of 'Yikes!' came over me. I stepped off. I went back on the glass floor three more times until it didn't bother me anymore. A minor example, but one nonetheless.
My ideal mate would be an attractive, outgoing person with a great smile. Someone who shares in similar interests, but who also brings something new into my life. Think one of those Venn diagrams with the overlapping circles. A person who is driven, but not to a fault; and who wants to travel!
