Before I make you read my short story profile....lol....I should tell you right away that I am a God fearing Christain and I live my life accordingly! (that doesn't mean I am perfect, and nor will I ever claim to be) I am also looking for a God fearing man to share my life with! I am very easy to get along with, but this is the absolute one area in my life that I will not compromise with; even if that means I have to remain single!! God has been by my side and has carried me through some very rough times and I am here standing on both two feet, so I owe my dedication to Christ first....then my Husband! (well....once I find a husband...lol) I thought I would tell you that right off the start as to not waste anyones time reading a profile, only to find out after you read it, that I am not someone you are interested in getting to know!

My friends would describe me as a very caring and loving person with a great sence of humour; I am a dedicated and hard working person who does not give up, but keeps striving to better my life. I am not afraid to get my hands dirty, but at the same time I love to get dressed up and be romanced.
I have lived in Ontario for 16 years now, but am originally from Alberta! I am a true westerner and grew up in the country! My Grandfather is a true Western Cowboy who taught himself to play the guitar at an early age, so I grew up listening to country music all my life! I still love country music, but also love a variety of other music as well! I grew up around horses, cattle, and grey hound dogs that were used for coyote hunting! (this doesn't make me a Red Neck...lol)
Here are some of the things I enjoy:
-Baseball....played since I was 5 years old .....was very competitive when I played and could say I still am a bit today, although I try to play more for the excercise and fun
-Volleyball
-Hikes/long walks
-Days at the beach/camping
-skating
-skiing....although it has been about 9 years since I put a pair of skis on
-singing/listening to music....some of the bands I listen to ,aside from the good ole 80's...lol....are Kutlas/pressplay/Chris Tomlin / Mandissa/Beckah Shae...I really enjoy a mix of music
I do get involved with functions at the church and get together with friends for coffee and great conversation! I enjoy going out for dinners and to the movies occassionally, but I would rather get together with friends for an evening, whether it be for a dinner party or playing board games! I do love to dance, and would like to learn other styles of dancing and I am interested in learning other languages! I do know some German/Italian and French....although not enough to visit any of those countries...lol
If I have to think of something I am proud of it would be the accomplishment of graduating with honours from my Nursing course after I became a single parent! My boys were only 4 and 2 years old at the time and I went back to college full-time and worked odd hours to earn some money while going to school. It was a very difficult time in my life, but with God by my side I managed to get through it and graduate with honours and on the dean's list! It is such a good feeling to get through the tough times and to still be standing on both 2 feet!
