"This should come as no surprise to anyone. The Auditor General warned us prices would increase 46% by 2015,” said Fedeli.
In January 7, 2012 Lake Superior News reported that “The only thing Independent Electricity System Operator report really shows is that the cost of electricity in Ontario went up 9.8 per cent in 2011,” said Fedeli.
“This is all due to the Liberals' failed energy experiments that have resulted in excess wind power replacing clean renewable waterpower and causing nuclear plants to shut down,” added Fedeli.
You will be paying 17.8 per cent more for your hydro than you did a little over a year ago. This increase is pushing up the cost of everything that a family purchases, one Thunder Bay resident commented upon hearing of yet another hydro increase.
