I rise early, and like to watch the sunrise over the Bay of Fundy. I have to stop beachcombing, because looking down at the sand is becoming a bad habit. Likely, looking up at the sky and ocean would, at least, be better for the posture. I ride my scooter around the island in the summer, and I don't care who thinks that a 60ish woman should not be doing something like that.
I live on an island which is an hour and a half trip, by ferry, to the mainland. There is less to do here than I expected when I moved here a year and a half ago. So, I am keeping a tiny bachelor apartment in St. John, in order to endulge some of my more esoteric intersts, when they become available. I only work part time, so I go back and forth frequently.
My sons are approaching their fourties, and both live half a continent away. We stay in touch frequently. I think the world of them and miss them a lot. Both of them have conciously decided to not make me a grandmother.
I am self sufficient in all respects, so that finding someone compatible and special would not be filling a hole; but adding to the overall pleasure that life has to offer.
I would hope to attract a man who is vibrant, intelligent, flexible, humane, financially independant, and importantly, monogamous.
