I'm at ease meeting new people and can look after myself in a room full of strangers. Friends describe me as kind, generous and always lending a helping hand. People tend to open up in my presence and confide their stories, I find that a tremendous compliment and I feel honoured in many ways. I have a good life, there have been peaks and some pretty deep valleys but I gained strength and wisdom during the hike up and bullet speed slide down! I'm trying to apply lessons learned to date to my everyday life and acknowledging all that I am grateful for. I think that by the time you are in your fifties, you have a greater sense of belonging and an obligation to teach and share.
