Date men and women from Northwest Territories, Canada. Does anyone else find this the hardest part of putting together a profile? I'm much better at first impressions face to face. I feel at ease meeting new people and call many of them friends for years afterwards. Living in a small, transient community allows me that opportunity in a more intimate fashion than a larger city from my experience.
I am from northern Canada, but have spent most of my adult life in Alberta and BC. I enjoyed my experiences in the south but as of two years ago decided to return north and will remain here for quite some time.
I've been an active appreciator of the arts no matter where I was living and no matter the medium, from music to carving, painting to construction. As long as there is passion in the process, I've applauded the artist. I am currently co-producing a jewelry collection with a long-time friend using northern materials such as Bison and Muskox horns along with silver chain.
One of my sisters will be helping with the collection as inspiration and designing the clothing for our show. She is one of my many siblings with whom I'm very close. Strong family values is something I look forward to sharing with the right man.
I've recently started a new career, which makes me very happy! I love my work, everyday I learn something new and it keeps me active. Its very different from anything I've ever done before and it has given me the opportunity to build on skills that I've known I have but didnt necessarily test on the regular.
I'm excited with where my life is right now, and the direction its heading... the next step is to find someone great to share it with.

Date single girl from Northwest Territories, Canada. Wow... This is one of those things I always assumed that I would know it when I saw it. I guess I haven't seen it... so let's give this a whirl.
I would like to be with someone who has a sense of adventure and isn't scared of doing things out of their comfort zone. I like the wind in my hair and a smile on my face! Eventually, I will go skydiving so if you are into that, yay! If not, then you will at least have to have the patience to watch me do these sorts of things, and then be able to listen to me go on (and on, and on) about how amazing the experience was and how you should have tried it… Really, the feeling of falling is pretty amazing. I highly recommend it.
I love hearing people’s opinions on whatever people are interested in… sports, history, popular culture, music… I’ll listen to it all. Sometimes, I’ll even chime in. Conversation is pretty awesome. Disagreeing is also fun sometimes. I can argue over which breakfast cereal mascot is better, but if it gets real and personal, I’m out. I avoid conflict like it’s my job! That is also one of my downfalls…
I've also been told that I am talented in the kitchen, so we won’t go hungry in the event that you are a terrible cook, but someone who can cook with me is always nice. I am not a picky eater. I enjoy all sorts of food from a variety of different cultures. So, if it’s edible, I will at least try it! I am also a bit of a wine enthusiast… but not the snobby kind. The kind that is not opposed to enjoying a glass or two of the finest $10 bottle that can be found… ahh, c’est fantastic! Really, I just like good food and good company, and wine is like the non-sugary icing on the cake.
Basically, I am carefree and awesome, so I would want my partner to be the same. Also, I appreciate ninja skills and zombie defence tactics.
