Date a woman from Canada. Every day I wake up with a smile on my face thanks to the decision I made about going back to school to become a nurse. Nursing is perfect for me because I love being around people and there is never a dull moment, which keeps things interesting – it is a new adventure every day! So what do I do in my down time? Well, I don’t spend very much of it “down” actually? I love staying active. I workout at the gym and go to the more hard-core classes because I feel exhilarated by pushing myself to the limit and enjoy the challenge. The outdoors is my second home – I need to feel the sun on my skin and to breathe in “real” air to feel like myself. I’ve had some pretty crazy experiences camping though, so staying indoors without any possibility of flooding, little creatures nibbling my toes, or wind ripping and blowing the tent away (yes, it actually did happen?), is good with me! Two…actually make that three, of my major weaknesses are: Starbucks Green Iced Tea, funky-coloured Nike running shoes, and of course, chocolate.
