It's not that there's any specific reason that I chose to sign up to a dating website. I'm single, but I am happy. I'm not here to fulfil a void of happiness in my life. Does that mean I'm looking for specifics in a guy? No. I can tell you a few things that I am attracted to, though. If you don't have a sense of humour, chances are slim that we'll work. I'm a pretty laid back girl. I'm not a fan of the party scene at all. I'd much rather stay in and read a book or watch a movie. Hard party goers and smokers turn me off... its just the way it is. I'm not saying that I wouldn't date someone who occasionally likes to go out, but if it's every weekend, it likely wouldn't last long. That being said, I'd love to go out to a local pub and listen to a band play live. I'd be just as content doing that as sitting home, watching some cheesy tv show or playing video games together. On a first date, I'd like to go to a cafe or somewhere we could sit with a drink to sit and chat, get to know each other. Another good idea for a first date is just a walk somewhere, along the boardwalk or through the park. Somewhere I can take my camera and delve into conversation at the same time as I'm enjoying my biggest passion. The cliche movie date is kind of awkward when you're going with someone you haven't met before. Plus, at the end of that all I know is that you're a good movie watcher... or a bad one. What's ideal in that? Nothing.
