I really love to hang out with my friends and partner...there is nothing more pleasurable than hiking a trail together and exploring new lands...holding hands is fun too ; ) Cooking is something I enjoy a great deal especially using foods fresh from my garden...I try to keep fit by exercising regularly and eating nutritous foods...presently experiementing with eliminating wheat from my diet to see if it helps with energy levels...as a result of reading the book "Wheat Belly" by Dr. W. Davis...good read for those of you who can't understand why their blood sugar levels are so high and you cannot lose weight....not a fanatic but like to ensure good food goes in my body ...
I love to ride my tri cycle on a regular basis and ride my horse...have been doing both since I was a kid...and love it...walk my dogs often on the beach and on the trails...right now they are my constant companions...good friends for sure who watch my back ; ) I am a constant learner and am always seeking out new ways to enhance my mind...therefore I am very curious about everything...I am very independent and am known to go off on my own or fix whatever needs fixing around my farm.

My career is hectic but I love it and am very self-sufficient. I want to soon start slowing down and retire so I can spend more time travelling. I've had adventures in 39 different countries and I embrace different cultures. My lifestyle has been diverse and I enjoy a wide range of interests and activities. I enjoy the peace and quiet of being outdoors, sitting by a campfire and watching the sun set over the lake. I've done lots of snowmobiling, ATVing, motor biking and boating! There are still a lot of things to do on my "bucket list" but it seems as though as I cross things off I keep adding more on! I went to Africa for the month of January as part of a missions team to visit and audit the ministries supported by an NGO that I have volunteered with for many years. We drove in land rovers for more than 6000 miles through 5 countries, I had the time of my life! Other than the ministry work, the highlights of the trip for me were going white-water rafting down the White Nile River in Uganda, Hot air ballooning over the Serengeti and game drives througn several National Parks.
Even though I have fun roughing it in jeans and tee shirt with my hair in a pony tail, I love to get all fixed up in a nice dress and heels. I like to dance, enjoy the arts and try out new restaurants. I am easy-going and enjoy just about anything as long as I'm with someone I can relax with. I love to give and receive attention and affection and think that every day should be spiced up with expressions of gratitude and love. I also believe that true romance isn't just about candle light dinners - it's an action and usually the simplist things mean the most...a picnic, a bouquet of buttercups, a love note, a special song....although now adays it might be by text message or email! lol
