Date a man from Northwest Territories, Canada. Underneath the armour of professionalism that I wear on the job and the fact I am ex-military I am (as you might be surprised to learn about many soldiers) a romantic at heart. If you have ever seen the movie "An Officer and a Gentleman" I guess that would be me as the officer. I mean, I loved "Top Gun" but I have never felt "The Need for Speed!", that is just not me.
I am grateful for all the opportunities I have been given and how fortunate I have been professionally. So i am proud when I can be of service to my fellow Canadians. So I am
proudest of my years in the military, the many years I spent teaching at night at the College and University level, the volunteer work I do with my professional accounting bodies at the national level and my years in Rotary. It is all about "Service above self"!
I love candle lit dinners, fresh flowers, a good bottle of wine, good food and a great converstion with someone I care about. But in a pinch I would settle for a nice walk holding hands or hugging.
I am very fortunate that I have always been a "glass half full" person and able to laugh out loud at life's absurbities. I am noted for my sense of humor at work.
I am looking for an attractive lady who enjoys the same things I do. Who is kind, gentle and appreciative of the things her lover does for her.
I think enough said as I am sure if I meet "Mrs. Right" we will be talking for hours about ourselves!!
