I am a confident, honest, kind hearted, natural born curious and passionate person who “the curiosity killed the cat” saying has been invented for. I have been working as a product design engineer for almost 20 years. I truly enjoy what I do and I am grateful that I work for a company that is full of mind boggling, tenacious and fun people. They make every day interesting, challenging and fulfilling. I care about the people who are important to me. I am usually very easy going guy except that I am the opposite when my buttons are pushed, which does not happen too often.
I usually gravitate towards people who haven’t lost the connection with the child in them. I have a natural curiosity and passion for many things. I find pleasure in thinking and discussing about philosophy. The older I get, the more amazed I am at how little I know. I am looking for someone to share that passion with. I am looking for someone who is open and is looking to grow. By the way I am already in love with my car, Gilda, so you have to share me with it.
I have a 9 year old daughter who is the cutest and most precious thing in my life. We enjoy doing many things together and she is and will be the most important person for me for the rest of my life. She lives with her mom who I still maintain a friendship with.
Personality wise, I am somewhere between introvert and extrovert. I tend to spend more time with the people I trust and relate to. I put in all my energy in my relationships and I am always genuine. Pretending to be someone else is just insincere and wrong. The life is precious and it feels better when you are with the right person and doing the right thing. Spending time outdoors, gardening, fixing either my car or house, partying with close friends, dining, good conversation, shopping with a woman(only sometimes!), watching soccer, swimming and running are some of the things I take pleasure out of.

I'm a very laid back(not lazy)kind of fella, but open to trying new things when opportunities present themselves. It's important to me to have the person I hang out with, be interested in just kicking back to relax and enjoy each others company and conversation, but also to want to get out and do new and old things! As my parents use to say..."too much TV will rot your brain". I'm a little bit older and wiser now and kind of agree with them. Who would have figured?
I love film and music but I really love the conversation that is spawned by it as well!! In my spare time I ...wait, what's 'spare time'?? Ok, when I'm not busy drawing to entertain tweens around the world, I spend time with my daughter, play tennis(badly), hit a driving range(if I'm lucky enough to have the time, an actual golf course), catch a Jays or Raptors game. I try to see a concert at the Molson amphitheater each summer. This year it's The Black Keys!!!!! Can't wait:)
I love my work...most of the time;) I work hard at it and to improve at it with each and every show that goes through my hands. It's a challenging gig, but if it wasn't it would be boring!
I love my family and my best friends. They are very good people:) I absolutely adore my daughter! She's just turned 2 and she amazes me every single day. By a long shot, she's the greatest thing to ever happen to my life!...On a side note. Everyone out there could do me a huge favor and STOP referring to other peoples children as 'Baggage'!!! My daughter is no such thing and it's incredibly disrespectful, and quite frankly hurtful, to say so.
I'm a gentleman(Mom would kill me if I wasn't). Respectful, considerate to woman. Very caring and loving to the right one. I look for the same in someone to date...except the gentleman part;)
To be a wee bit more specific...I'm looking for someone that gets my sense of humor so that we can share in our laughter and smile at each others imperfections each and every day. A playfulness in words and actions to show that you care and enjoy the time spent together. Yes, I like sports and it's really ok if you don't all that much and aren't interested in watching it on TV. However, it would be nice if you enjoyed going out to a game 'live' every once and a while because, in turn, I would enjoy going out to the theater or museum/gallery. I'm a Libra and do believe in balance of the scales.
If you are the type to have an argument with the person you're in a relationship with and call them bad names to their faces and behind their backs, then please move on because I'd break up with you on the spot. It's a slippery slope my friends and when you cross that line, there's no going back and I won't tolerate it. I know, pretty blunt huh?
Oh, and as if it had to be said... to my eyes I need to be thinking each and every day 'you are so incredibly hot'!!(even without makeup). This is so very, very true...Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
