I'm shy around new people but I do break out of my shell when I get to know someone and feel comfortable around them. There is one thing I hate and that is when people think just because someone is disabled that person cannot do anything for themselves. That's far from the truth. Sure there are somethings I can't do but there are tons of activites that able-bodied people do that I can do as well just in a different way. For example I went sailing, kayaking (that was a lot of fun), horseback riding (I use to own a horse before I moved into the city), snowmobiling, camping and 4x4ing. I am open to trying new things. My family and friends have been trying to get me to try skiing.

There are the usual guy interests (hockey, golf, and more hockey, movies). I enjoy simply spending time with my close friends relaxing on a patio or in a lounge or a favourite restaurant. I try and stay in decent shape, too offset a love for food, both good and bad!
