Meet a soulmate from British Columbia, Canada. My Ideal girl? Of course having some overlapping goals and interests is important. She might be interested in: learning for life, spending lots of time outside, having poetry written about her, seeing new horizons, working hard and playing harder. Laughter, loud and often is a must. I want her to look good and feel great about herself and I’ll do my best to reinforce those ideals every day. I have a sarcastic/dark sense of humor. I don’t watch TV but enjoy movies and I laugh way too hard at fail videos. When I garden, I daydream of being at sea. At sea I ponder sitting under a tree. I am also fond of this notion of “finding great love”. I know it seems like a given, but what if one made that their goal?
I think my best attribute is versatility. I can talk shop at the mechanics, cuss like a sailor, shoe a horse and hold my own in any academic debate. I also know when to keep my thoughts to myself and lend an ear. I am a terrible liar and sweet, I have been told, is my default.
So, while looking for a long term companion is the eventual goal, I’m also interested in meeting a person for the simple sake of having a good conversation with someone who has a different perspective than I do. Whether it is for lunch, coffee or just learning about local events or attractions.
