. i'm at that point in my life that I would love to travel more, even if just for a weekend getaway, I love being on are around the water, am definatley an outdoor type person, but do love to cook and entertain... I am looking for a long term committed relationship, but do realize that dosn't happen overnight...much more to say, but would rather do so over a glass of wine...
. Hi, Thanks for reading. Please note I'm not as picky as I might sound: Just looking for the fire. It behooves me to say that if you are a (com)passionate woman interested (or preferably consumed) in the mystery of life, the fullness of consciousness, the awe of nature, and if you feel the combination of empathy and mutual mindfulness is something that may take you to a higher understanding and free you to some degree, then I am a man you should contact. I am young at heart--and getting younger. I take pretty good care of myself, and I need a partner who does the same--and likes to always keep learning, especially about *herself*. I hit the machines or my bike almost daily, treat my body with respect, energy, and spirit. I try to have fun whenever I can. I have struggled for 23 years to build a business that now affords me the time to work on myself; the time to spend on building a relationship. I still live with many responsibilities, but I have also found a way to live with profound freedom. I love to make a few calls ("See you next week, boys!") to my crew, grab my bag and see where the road leads me. I yearn to *go* and find out, whether it be through wandering or wondering. Only thing missing here is that friendship with a certain woman that turns to more: My Muse is there, I just have to find her. I really enjoy hanging with my adult children whenever they're around or I visit them, and laughter just feels plain healthy. The question for me now is who might be knocking at the next door. It is a door I will happily, with perfect honesty, just open. So, you should be prepared to communicate on an emotional and mental level with integrity, depth, and understanding, or just pass me by. Before you go, note that I am offering intimate nights on the deck or by the fire, with the ocean nearby, lots of walks and moonlit talks, (silly and romantic side too--it's the poet in me), and hopefully lots of laughter. I like the TV off and the conversation on, mostly, and I love creativity in myself and others. I am lucky to live on a smallish quiet island, but my card would read: "Have heart, Will travel." I like remote locations; in thought, in place, and especially in emotion. Myers-Briggs Personality type= INTP; rare type, not exactly a "team" guy; but emotionally smarter, and I think more fun, as I "mature." If you feel you might have a little artistic, poetic, or philosophical side, so much the better. Connection and chemistry are the keys. Love starts with real friendship (but friendship for me is also enough-- that's how we grow!) So, I will seriously (and humorously?) consider all replies.
