That being said, you can't really stereotype me as a soldier. I'm also a writer in my spare time. I write all kinds of things, from newspaper articles to novels. I'm also a mechanic. I love working on things and I like to learn how things work the way they do. I have an insatiable curiosity about the world around me. I take pleasure in the simple things around me. I have a great appreciation for the world and can find humour and beauty in almost everything in it.
I'm an intelligent, caring, passionate and affectionate person with a strong personality. I refuse to let anything break me or change me. When something knocks me down, I get up and brace for the next big hit because let's face it, nothing worth doing is ever easy.
I'm imaginative and creative and a bit of a geek. I like to keep busy and am always up for trying something new. I love music of all kinds, and I love to cook. I'm into snowboarding, horseback riding, fishing, camping, the very occasional video game lol, and cuddling up on the couch with someone and a good movie. I'll watch just about anything as long as the company is good lol. I also like to go out for a few drinks and maybe dancing once in a while. And no, the dancing is not dependant on the drinks. I like to play the violin a little, (not well, but not terrible either lol) I have a lot of interests as you can no doubt tell by now.
I value honesty and loyalty above all else. I have two beautiful little girls who I don't get to see as often as I'd like but they do stay with me sometimes.

Joining the military is one of the things I'm proud of. I would never think that someone like me could have gotten fit enough to make it through basic training, there were still difficulties, but I persevered.
